Ice Cream for Every Season!

When we first started Frozen Sin Truck some people would walk up to the truck and say, "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IN THE WINTER?! YOU SELL ICE CREAM!".  Usually we would laugh and say, "Does the grocerry store stop carrying ice cream in the winter?! Just wait til you try our ice cream!".  Ever since I can remember, I have always needed dessert right before bed and it is almost always ice cream.  I am certainly not the only one with this bedtime ritual. So many of our loyal costumers from the summer email, text and call us week after week.  We have been busy with lots of private parties during this cold season.  Ice Cream really is for every season and occasion, especally when it's home-made!  Check out some of our delicous winter flavors in the photos below, Hot Cocoa, Caramel Snowflake, Chocolate Chip Pepermint, and of course Milk and Cookies!  With that said, I think it's time for my dessert...Frozen Sin's Hot Cocoa ice cream is so addicting it may become a regular on the Frozen Sin Truck!

More often then not, I wake up in the middle of the night with an idea of some new magical ice cream. Of course I want to create it right then and there, but remember its 2:30 in the morning! Instead, I write it down in my book of ideas.  A college mentor of mine back at the Culinary Insitute of America once told his students to write down every idea that came to us. He claimed it may not seem to make sense at the moment, but with experience and creativity, could be amazing.  I have followed his advice ever since, thus Frozen Sin was born.

Santa's Milk & Cookies was a flavor Steph and I dreamt up over a year and a half ago. We knew this playful idea,  coupled with the freshness and quality of our ingreidents would be perfect for the holiday season.  We use a lot of bold flavors in our sandwhiches, but sometimes it is the simple flavors you remember as a child that leave your taste buds forever changed and wanting more.  Steph and I wanted to create a sandwich that could make you feel like a kid again, who doesn't remember leaving milk and some chocoalte chip cookies out for Santa on Christmas Eve. Of course, it couldn't be complete without a bite missing from santa (or maybe Rudolph).  I can still remember the excitment of waking up Christmas morning with my sisters , and finding a half empty glass of milk and a bite out of that chewy cookie.  We hope this pairing of vanilla bean ice cream and chewy chocoalte chip cookie can bring as big of a smile to your face as it did to ours!  We will be very busy the week of Christmas delivering these along with lots of other sinful treats to all our loyal costumers!  Happy hoildays from your girls at Frozen Sin Truck!

Warm Holiday Wishes!
